Annual Fundraising Dinner - May 28, 2006.
For the
last two years, we have hosted very well received
Fundraising Dinners where guests enjoy a special
evening filled with music, prizes and food.
This year, our 2006 Fundraising Dinner
was held on Sunday, May 28th at the Imperial
Chinese Seafood Restaurant, in downtown Vancouver.
The highlight of the evening was the musical
performance by the highly acclaimed pianist,
Sasha Starcevich. It was a fantastic
opportunity to experience such an accomplished
musician.

The Canadian Music Competitions is a fantastic
opportunity for students to grow musically.
Many of our nation’s finest musicians have
passed through the CMC, such as Isabel Bayrakdarian,
Liona Boyd, Marc-Andre Hamelin, Ofra Harnoy,
Angela Hewitt, Susan Hoeppner and Robert Silverman.
This year, our 2005 Fundraising Dinner
was held on Sunday, April 17th. The highlight
of the evening was the musical performance
by our special guest: the highly acclaimed
pianist, Angela Hewitt. It was an unforgettable
opportunity to see an international musician
perform up close (her biography can be found
